Player Notes Pros

  • Standout in zone coverage, made some alpha plays on the ball breaking forward on it.

  • Love his ability to squeeze zones & flip from the field to the boundary

  • Has an astute understanding of coverage spacing & how to layer zones

  • Does some impressive things in press coverage & is willing to crowd routes early

  • Has redirect pop in his hands & generally does well to jam at the release point

  • Patient footwork, rarely gets antsy, more fluid than expected for a corner of his size

  • In soft press, he's patient at the LOS, keeps shoulders parallel, to get stab & reroute

  • Length, size, range & play strength are an assets in both coverage & run defense

  • He uses excellent footwork & angles to stay in phase excellent good top end speed

  • Very good job of dropping his weight, closing separation in transition at the top of routes

  • In off man he displays very good hips to mirror the receiver, with good plant & drive

  • Also uses good length to high point 50/50 balls, while displaying very good ball skills

  • In zone he displays good instincts, football IQ & excellent route recognition

Player Notes Cons

  • Disappoints both as a tackler & playing through contact, especially for his size

  • Some tightness to work through during transitions, gets over aggressive in press

  • Will have some match up restrictions if used frequently in man/off man coverage

  • Not immune to committing an occasional false step, usually getting drawn forward

  • Times you get the impression he's guessing instead of understanding the thought process

  • Transitional quickness isn't one of his best traits, he's given up some separation
