Player Notes Pros

  • Very good reactive athleticism, more than willing tackler against RBs & TEs

  • Displays good tackling efficiency on the perimeter, where he rarely misses

  • In soft press displays very strong foot quickness to stay on top when to get a reroute

  • He displays good play speed up-field & easily stays in phase on nine routes

  • In off man displays good footwork & hips efficient at top of the route in his transition

  • Excellent closing quickness & ball skills to get his hands on the football quite often

  • In coverage does a good job mirroring the WR, putting himself in position to finish

  • Understands leverage from CB position, rarely outflanked on the edge against the run

  • Projects well as inside/outside corner who will excel as a vice/gunner on special teams

  • Lightning quick footwork, transitions are rapid and changing of direction is fluid

  • Sudden responses & he has tremendous balance & body control when flipping his hips

  • Explosive plant & drive ability in click & close situations,

  • Excellent in soft press to crowd the release, stay square, challenging for WRs to stack

  • Has outstanding recovery speed which enables him to be aggressive early in the route

  • Does well to leverage route releases makes it difficult for receiver to stay on schedule

  • Willing to trigger downhill, wrap up & bring his feet through traffic, never reluctant

Player Notes Cons

  • He has good length, but should be a better rerouter at the line of scrimmage

  • In cover 2 from off position needs to reroute better & limit pressure he puts on safety

  • I’d like to see him take advantage of offensive mistakes with more interceptions

  • Doesn’t appear to have great length which requires him to play tighter coverage

  • Times on vertical throws where the receiver peels late & still gets a completion

  • Would like to see him more consistent with his hand usage at the LOS to create jams
