Player Notes Pros

  • Strong in the box player, when he sees where the ball is going he quickly reacts well

  • Excels playing with his eyes in the backfield & not looking around in coverage

  • Can play very well in man coverage in situations that don't ask him to go too deep

  • When he's on an offensive player's hip, he has strong active hands for pass break ups

  • Reed will fill the alley, under control with enough speed to close down on ball carriers

  • Plays fearless with aggressiveness & will mix it up with any opposing player

  • Will get in phase on man coverage & is difficult to beat vertically for bigger slot targets

  • More than enough range to cover his half of the field effectively in two high looks

  • Ball skills show up when in tight coverage, able to dislodge the ball at the catch point

  • Plays with sufficient physicality, great anticipation to come up & make plays on the ball

Player Notes Cons

  • Tackles a bit low too often & can be grasping at ankles when he doesn't have to

  • Just does not see the game the same way when responsible for covering deep

  • Mediocre athlete questionable reliability & range, not the guy to play single high

  • Out of control when blitzing or attacking the box attempting to tackle with sloppy feet

  • Doesn’t have true sideline to sideline speed, which limits potential as a center fielder

  • Gets drawn inside when tasked with contain, shows a need for better awareness
