Player Notes Pros

  • As the “move” TE in an offense, he is a major match up problem in the passing game

  • Great instincts, and excellent versatility in terms of where he can be aligned

  • He displays good tracking ability on deeps balls as well as incredible hands

  • Displays good toughness over the middle & making catches when contact is imminent

  • Fantastic route runner who makes excellent adjustments versus zone coverage

  • Fairly deceptive setting up his breaks and he does very well not to tip his hand

  • Has enough juice to present problems for linebackers & safeties at the next level

  • Positions himself for favorable opportunities at the catch point & does well to compete

  • Willing blocker that is most effective in space connecting with back seven defenders

  • Does well to carry quickness through the top of his routes, he's got necessary burst

  • Threat on all levels of the field as route runner, excels on adjustments in tight coverage

  • His burst is incredible, he's got good juice & will remain a mismatch threat at the NFL

  • Able to get onto the body of defenders as a route runner & create room to work

Player Notes Cons

  • Will get overwhelmed by the physicality in the NFL if he is used in-line

  • Doesn’t have good block strength or power at the point of attack

  • Has struggles clearing jams & contact in his release More physicality is needed

  • Block framing is tempered by a narrow base, he'll spin too easily off of contact
