Player Notes Pros

  • Effective eating up coverage & making slight adjustments to manipulate leverage

  • Explosiveness is great, can manipulate stem to generate advantageous leverage

  • Bowling ball frame with bad intentions. Will lower his shoulder into would be tacklers

  • Regularly withstands the first & often the second contact given a low riding frame

  • Initiates contact nicely with natural leverage as both a blocker & a runner

  • Great big hands, especially for a player of his size, has a quick tuck after the catch

  • Addresses the ball outside of his frame & can make over the shoulder catches well

  • Unique athlete, shorter, thicker frame with a ton of muscle in the trunk and lower half

  • Explosive sprinting athlete with great acceleration but better long speed over distance

  • Elevation ability is excellent, athletic profile should translate nicely at the next level

  • Hard runner who's rarely brought down by the first defender if he faces him head on

  • Has some slipperiness to him in tight spaces, manipulates defenders into glancing blows

  • Large catch radius for a player of his size, does incredibly well in contested situations

Player Notes Cons

  • Underdeveloped player, has hip and ankle tightness that lead to a lack of fluidity

  • Struggles on hard-breaking routes to generate separation & plays himself into contact

  • Does not have elite quickness, release moves, or length to win at the catch point

  • Struggles with contact through the catch point & must become better protecting the ball

  • Doesn't do well to position his body relative to defenders & win in jump-ball situations

  • Not nearly as elusive or agile as you'd like to see, & he's accordingly a limited player
