Player Notes Pros

  • Thick frame, powerful base & natural leverage presents strong anchor against the run

  • Is rarely reach blocked successfully due to his strong initial step and solid anchoring

  • Explosive off the ball with upfield, disruptive approach, as well as low & square pads

  • Regularly the first to initiate hands off the ball, knows his leverage points to attack

  • Upper body power is explosive, regularly creates displacement, surprisingly slippery

  • True positional flexibility & schematic versatility, due to exceptional athleticism

  • In odd front scheme he's prototypical ¾ OLB, in even scheme can play with hand down

  • Sufficient pop in his hands to play on the strong side, but better suited on the weak side

  • He's a good pass rusher that has also shown sufficient ability to drop and play in space

  • He is slippery on the interior & has shown the ability to bend & get the edge

  • First step quickness & stride length, enables him to establish & soften the outside edge

  • Generally takes good rush angles & complements his rush with ideal footwork

  • Rushes with a plan, showcasing an expansive array of pass rush moves to get home

Player Notes Cons

  • Doesn't have ideal bend for an outside rusher, seems more like a Big 5-tech at this point

  • Gets pushed beyond peak of the pocket lacks the hip & ankle mobility to flatten his path

  • He needs to become more consistent using his hands & disengaging in the run game

  • Has an inconsistent motor & needs to retrace & pursue when he cannot get home

  • Needs development with his ancillary pass rush moves, bit of a linear athlete
