Player Notes Pros

  • Built like a wide receiver & essentially played wide out during his time at Stanford

  • Has true straight-line explosiveness & long speed, moves incredibly well for big man

  • Effective adjusting to the football in the air, excels on seam routes to the back shoulder

  • Shown good football IQ & aligned in various positions in the Cardinal offense

  • Can drop his weight & create separation against safeties and LB's in man coverage

  • Good strong hands, does a great job of extending & not allowing the ball into his frame

  • Has positional flexibility to play Y, F, or H & matches up favorably the red zone

  • Catch radius is massive & he has the ball skills to make it matter, tracks the ball well

  • Agility at the top of routes to execute breaks with good fluidity for a man of his stature

  • Wins at the catch point, bullies defenders, draws secondary players to help over the top

  • Has the size to rumble over poor tackle attempts & is a big play threat after the catch

  • He's super fluid for his size, easy in transitions when running hook routes at the sticks

Player Notes Cons

  • Infrequently lined up in-line despite the many run heavy packages

  • Will get bodied in the contact window window and LB's can negate his seam routes

  • Essentially a big slot receiver, which puts  his average route running into spotlight

  • Needs to improve at using his hands & pairing it with his footwork to defeat press

  • Needs to do a better job setting defenders up, & developing crafty route nuances
