Player Notes Pros

  • Rangy defender with notable athleticism, has been moved all over the field by the Lions

  • He received some reps up on the line of scrimmage, & looked like a natural

  • More consistency he was playing on the second level, with significant success

  • Penn State utilized him quite frequently as a zone defender in the flats,

  • Also showed versatility going as far as to flex him out with slot receivers or tight ends

  • He's got good burst in the open field and has the range to play a WILL position

  • Showed good habits to attack the football as a tackler, forcing numerous fumbles

  • Frame & athleticism may allow him to play more of a hybrid role at the next level

  • Plays very physical, with the speed to get from sideline to sideline effectively

  • Has the intelligence & football IQ to wear the green dot if he is required to

Player Notes Cons

  • He doesn't showcase desirable functional strength to step down & bang opposition

  • Effectively neutralized on the edge with skill players with too much frequency

  • There's a lot of incidents of him falling off tackles as he throws himself into challenges

  • Needs more control to place his feet behind him in order to roll hips through contact

  • Requires a more ample push back against ball carriers in head up tackle situations
