Player Notes Pros

  • Truly a fearless passer, puts adequate zip on passes & gets the ball down the field

  • He also throws with incredible touch better than any quarterback in the class IMO

  • When his touch throws are on, few in the class can complete some his timing passes

  • Is mobile & versatile enough to escape pressure and keep plays alive with his legs

  • Eyes, upper, & lower extremities are always tied together, sound mechanics

  • When on-script, he looks confident and decisive with where to go with the ball

  • Former Spartans QB has the arm strength to fire it cleanly through closing windows

  • Also being able to make far distance throws outside of the numbers when necessary

  • Played in offense that required him to make progressions on both half & full field reads

  • Seems to have the intelligence of being able to handle all types of throws & situations

  • Able to locate and follow through with passes to targets in the short areas.

  • He’s proven to be effective with a snappy over-the-top release.

  • Took crushing hits in the pocket but managed to get back up & play the next play

  • Succeeded behind a sub-par offensive front that became leaky throughout games

Player Notes Cons

  • Consistency just is not there, can make an incredible play followed by a head scratcher

  • Does not take care of the football the way he needs to, at the NFL level

  • Has a Brett Favre  gunslinger mentality without Brett Favre’s level of success or talent

  • Lapses in mechanics, poise & decision making all make him a developmental project

  • Has a bad tendency with circling out of the way of pressure to the right side frequently

  • Uncomfortable with the busyness within the pocket in order to deliver accurate throws

  • Long list of injuries, & constant bad decision making resulted in him regressing
