Player Notes Pros

  • Short area agility & quickness to break on hot flashing throws is exceptional

  • Profiles best in a hook n' curl & as a robber underneath in zone defense

  • Linear burst & down hill trigger are really nice & allow him to flash on the perimeter

  • He's got good straight line speed & is quite springy when looking to attack forward

  • Really like what he brings to the table as a potential nickel linebacker in sub packages

  • Got a really good tackle radius, and produce some busts as a finisher

  • Great nose for the ball when you let him free lance, especially on extended plays

  • When asked to mirror & shade tight to LOS size & wingspan become quite disruptive

  • Love the effort he puts forth as a blitzer or pursuit player to rally to the football.

  • Functional strength & pop through his hands is exceptional bullies blockers in the D gap

  • Addresses the ball quite well when you task him with undercutting throws

  • Should have a reasonable chance to hold up against TEs at the next level

  • Tackling & run support are exceptional, he is also a very smart defender

  • May be best on third down as a nickel LB to play over top of TEs & shade in zone

Player Notes Cons

  • Has issues staying attached to WR's in man coverage when working across the middle

  • Too often he can attempt to lay big the hit & fail to wrap up in the open field

  • Straight line athlete who doesn't bring same appeal when asked to hinge & flip his hips

  • His lack of deep range will hinder his ability to break & contest over the middle

  • Struggles with dynamic base to play & pivot, upside as a deep defender is modest

  • His lateral agility hinders his ability to be a true mismatch defender in the nickel
