Player Notes Pros

  • Good versatility & positional flexibility, ability to contribute in base & sub packages

  • Experience as a collegiate starter at both strong safety, free safety & cornerback

  • Has aligned both “down” in coverage vs WR’s in the slot and on the back end

  • Plays with good awareness & football IQ, allowing him to effortlessly adjust to the ball

  • When covering WRs in the slot, displays good mirror & match ability at top of the route

  • Very good range for the position on the back end due to his great speed & athleticism

  • His lateral agility, speed & hips allow him to easily transition at the top of the route

  • Flips his hips, runs upfield with WR's, locates the football & get his hands on the ball

  • Will be 4 phase special teamer, excelling as gunner due to very good straight line speed

  • Burst is best when coming downhill as compared to working laterally to squeeze routes

  • Range works well as robber in intermediate areas frequently influence over top of TEs

  • Got a hot motor & pretty fearless dropping down into the box challenging blockers

  • Good coil into tackles, illustrating ability to unload the hips & explode through contact

  • Brings a second gear to get into trail position or to accelerate & undercut a late throw

Player Notes Cons

  • As the last line of defense, I’d like to see him more consistent as a wrap up tackler

  • In the box, poor initial angles in pursuit pop up then force him into chase mode

  • Needs touch more anticipation in zone to flow & scrape when not held by a 2nd route

  • Isn’t consistent clearing contact & getting himself in ideal positioning to finish tackles

  • Unfortunately for fantasy he doesn’t profile well as a box safety at the next level
