Player Notes Pros

  • Impact defender when tasked with working intermediate & shallow areas of the field

  • He has good juice working out of the slot looking to crash the party in the backfield

  • Gets off of blocks consistently & comes to balance and hits his moving targets

  • Can physically wrestle down ball carriers or chop down bigger bodies with cut tackles

  • Really like his anticipation when tasked with working the flats or hook/curl landmarks

  • Good anticipation to break on throws as the arm cocks back to target receivers

  • Attentive to hands of receivers & bats the football with authority to break up targets

  • Hot motor & a visibly emotional player, clear team leader in watching him play

  • Nice leverage as a tackler, surprisingly stout to flash his hands & play off of contact

  • Not a great deal of hip hinge in coverage to play with required speed to cover ground

  • Good body control to drop pads & play around blocks with good balance & body control

  • Turns corners quickly & effectively without extra steps to dart in off the perimeter

  • Physical & appreciate his ability to dislodge & reroute releases near the LOS

  • Nickel linebacker? Yes, he sure can. Nickel slot? For sure. Special teams? He's great

Player Notes Cons

  • Doesn't appear to have great deep range or the ability to impact vertical shots

  • Speed is questionable, not sure he should be left without coverage help vertically

  • Stocky build doesn't give a lot of length to extend & challenge the ball at the catch point

  • Feet don't show elite quickness, every down defender, probably unlikely at next level

  • Wouldn't leave him isolated in coverage without aid over the top, given long speed
