Player Notes Pros

  • Excellent reactive athleticism for the position, good length & great lateraled agility

  • Incredible versatility by aligning in nearly every defensive position on the field

  • He's undersized, but is extremely physical, contact seeking LB against the run

  • Skill set suggests he is ideally suited to play WLB in an even front scheme

  • He also has good coverage upside on RBs and TE's, with excellent range

  • He's a contact seeker and shows good explosion in his hips as a tackler

  • Decisive when run has declared, has the mental quickness to process early

  • Slippery gap shooting skills & has a strong nose for the football as he scrapes through

  • Closes down space quickly & possesses nice balance to square up his tackles

  • Works down the field to corral in big runs to prevent even bigger plays & scores

  • Play strength aided by coiled hips & low build also able to squat or stack up blockers

  • Very fluid & natural foot quickness to scrape & slide when flexed outside the hashes

  • Flashes of instinct to buzz underneath routes both in the middle of the field & outside

Player Notes Cons

  • Is a little undersized and could afford to add 20 pounds of muscle to his frame

  • Can be too aggressive & sometimes he gets a little overzealous & overruns his fit

  • Inexperience shows as he will attempt to use his athleticism instead of technique

  • Runs around blocks, rather than stacking, shedding & maintaining gap integrity

  • Instances where his instincts are questionable, from lack of experience in the box

  • Lack of length & size, if playing off contact late he will struggle to finish consistently
